Paul T. Bossidy
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bossidy is Chief Executive Officer of Clayton Holdings, LLC and is
responsible for the overall strategic direction and operating results of the
business. Mr. Bossidy joined Clayton in October of 2008. Clayton is a
privately-held provider of risk management services to the mortgage industry
globally.
Prior to joining Clayton, Mr. Bossidy was a Senior Operations Executive and
Operations Partner at Cerberus Capital Management LP.
Mr. Bossidy led a number of businesses during his thirteen year tenure with the
General Electric Company. Beginning in 1993 as General Manager of Corporate
Business Development, he became President of the Refrigerator Product Line
within GE Appliances Division from 1994 – 1996, where he led a $2 billion
business and directly managed product planning, strategy, advertising, marketing
and new products.
From 1996 – 1999, Mr. Bossidy was President and Chief Executive Officer of GE
Lighting (North America), where he had full P&L responsibility for a $3 billion
business with 31 plants and 12,000 employees, including 11,000 hourly workers.
Mr. Bossidy became President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Vendor Financial
Services Group in 1999. He managed 3,000 people and had full global P&L
responsibility for this vendor financing unit. In 2001, he became President and
Chief Executive Officer of GE Commercial Equipment Financing. Here he had full
P&L responsibility for a lending group comprised of 8,000 associates operating
in 15 countries. 1,500 of these employees worked in sales and marketing
activities.
In 2005 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital
Solutions Group, where he had full P&L responsibility for the diversified global
commercial finance company, with $120 billion in assets and $2 billion in net
income.
Mr. Bossidy began his career by spending six years in the Audit Practice at
Coopers & Lybrand LLP in New York, NY. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from
Williams College, MA, a Master’s in Accounting from New York University, NY, and
an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is also a
Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
